Dining and Drinking at TheOld Ferry Boat Inn

Enjoy with us

Known to be England’s oldest inn, The Old Ferry Boat overlooks the River Great Ouse, which winds its way around the tiny hamlet of Holywell. Its beautifully thatched roof and white stonewalls are a monument to travellers who once drank and ate here centuries ago. Part of the inns bar floor contains a granite slab. This stone marks the grave of a beautiful 17 year old girl, Juliet Tewsley, who was buried here over 900 years ago.

The restaurant is located throughout three different areas of the Inn providing you with a fantastic choice of seating for a tranquil and relaxing meal.

Our extensive menu offers a delicious range of dishes, catering for all tastes from traditional favourites to more exotic choices.
